Last week was fun and busy as we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month!
Thanks to our families and staff who prepared a delightful array of their favorite dishes for the potluck on October 9th. From savory empanadas to sweet flan, the diversity of flavors truly reflected the spirit of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Congratulations to our scholars who were awarded that evening; we are proud of you!
Our students have collaborated diligently this month, pouring their creativity into banners, posters, and floats that beautifully highlight Hispanic culture and famous Hispanic Americans. We ended the week displaying these creations during our Hispanic Heritage parade throughout the school.
After the parade, we celebrated with freeze pops and our championship soccer tournament.

La semana pasada fue divertida y ajetreada, ya que celebramos el Mes de la Herencia Hispana.
Gracias a nuestras familias y al personal que prepararon una deliciosa variedad de sus platos favoritos para la comida compartida del 9 de octubre. Desde sabrosas empanadas hasta flan dulce, la diversidad de sabores realmente reflejó el espíritu del Mes de la Herencia Hispana.

Terminamos la semana exhibiendo estas creaciones durante nuestro desfile de la Herencia Hispana en toda la escuela.
Después del desfile, celebramos con paletas heladas y nuestro campeonato de fútbol.
