Training Ride #1 is Sunday, April 2!
Kipling TTC Station to Courtney Park (and back)
Departure is at 10:00 a.m. sharp but plan to arrive for 9:30 a.m.

The key to enjoying the ride to Montréal is physical preparedness and the best way to get prepared is to train.

The training ride season begins on Sunday, April 2 with a nice 35 km ride from Kipling TTC Station to Courtney Park (and back). The ride leaves at 10 a.m. sharp but plan to arrive by 9:30 a.m. - on the grass near the north parking lot - for announcements, warm up and mingling!

Spring Bike Tune-Up
Chances are your bike has been sitting in a garage all winter - sad, lonely and gathering dust. It might need a little freshening up before your training begins. If you haven't already, visit your local bike shop for a spring tune-up. Make an appointment quick though, there's likely a waitlist!
Community Fundraising: A Transformative Power

The Bike Rally is a crucial revenue source for many programs and services offered by PWA and the largest funding source for PWA's second largest program - Financial Assistance.

PWA's Friends For Life Bike Rally welcomes people and groups of people from all over the world and from all walks of life. The Positive Peddlers are one such group that have become an important part of the Bike Rally family.

PWA is Hiring

The search is underway for a new manager in the Philanthropy and Communications Department at PWA. In addition to PWA fundraising responsibilities, the new position will be sharing Bike Rally leadership responsibilities with the Director, and who will have primary responsibility to grow the Bike Rally's sponsorship program.

A PWA Office Shuffle

If you're planning to visit the team in the Philanthropy and Communications Department - the Bike Rally's PWA staff support team - they'll be moving to a new location in the PWA office. Be sure to check in at reception desk to be directed to their new location.
