Dear Frederica Academy Community,

We are excited to share an update on the search for Frederica Academy’s next Head of School. Following in-depth interviews with a strong and talented group of semifinalist candidates, the Search Committee has identified four finalists it looks forward to welcoming to campus.

Each finalist will spend multiple days at Frederica, meeting with representatives from our administration, faculty and staff, students, parent body, and the Board of Trustees. We are planning for visits on the following dates:

• Finalist 1: August 23–25
• Finalist 2: August 25–27
• Finalist 3: August 30–September 1
• Finalist 4: September 1–3

These visits are a critical part of the process, allowing each candidate to experience Frederica's culture and community firsthand and allowing us to engage with them thoughtfully as we near a final decision.

Each finalist currently serves in a senior leadership role within their own school community. While key individuals are aware of their candidacy, we remain committed to maintaining appropriate confidentiality throughout this process. For that reason, candidate names and background information will be shared only with those directly participating in each visit, and only shortly beforehand.

Reaching this stage of the search is the result of a thorough and intentional process, and we are excited to host this group of highly talented educators on campus. We look forward to sharing with the candidates the very best of Frederica Academy, demonstrating our characteristic hospitality and welcoming each candidate such that they will leave campus even more excited about the opportunity than when they arrived.

This is an exciting and important moment for Frederica Academy. We are grateful for the community's continued engagement and support, and we look forward to sharing more as this process moves toward its conclusion.
