Dear Frederica Academy Community,

We are pleased to share an update on Frederica Academy's Head of School search.

Since our last update, the Search Committee has reviewed the applications of an impressive and talented pool of candidates recommended by our consultants at Carney, Sandoe & Associates. Committee members met to discuss the files in depth, and that discussion yielded a strong field of semifinalists.

Semifinalists will meet with the Search Committee for structured interviews in the coming weeks, focused on the goals and priorities we set early in this process for our next Head of School.

Following these interviews, the Search Committee expects to select a group of finalists whom we anticipate welcoming to campus for two-day visits early in the semester. During their visits, finalists will spend time with students, faculty, staff, and parents, giving our community a chance to see firsthand who they are and providing them with a true sense of Frederica's spirit and mission.

We are encouraged by the exceptional group of candidates advancing through the search and remain confident that this process will identify the right leader for Frederica Academy.
