A Message from the Athletic Director
Wow, what a week it was for Frederica Academy athletics. Congratulations to our varsity girls and boys cross country teams. Our girls team is the 2021 GISA AAA Cross Country State Champion, and our boys team is the State Runner-Up. Christy Bumgartner has had this as a goal since she took over as our head coach eight years ago. You can’t achieve this kind of success without great assistant coaches like Al Stasko and Jack Key.

The varsity football team ended its regular season this past Friday night by beating Trinity Christian of Dublin. Now, it’s off to the playoffs with a fourth seed in the GISA AAA State Playoffs. We have a bye in the first round this Friday and will host a home game against Tiftarea on Friday, November 19, in the second round.

Don’t forget, we have varsity basketball games at home this Tuesday and Thursday. The girls play at 5:30 and the boys tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. against Faith Baptist. On Thursday, the opponent is Faith Christian Academy The girls play at 5:30 p.m. and the boys begin at 7:00 p.m.

The Middle School soccer teams hit the pitch this week. The Middle School teams travel to Risley this afternoon. Game time is 3:30 p.m. for girls and 4:30 p.m. for boys. On Wednesday, they have home matches versus St. Marys with the same game times.

Congratulations again to all of our coaches, families, and especially our amazing student-athletes. Knight Pride is everywhere!

Go Knights!
