Middle School Football

Thursday was a second big win for the Middle School Football Knights. Scoring touchdowns early and often was the theme for FA. The Knights jumped to an early 20-0 lead on only three offensive plays. Stanton Beverly led things off with a 9-yard touchdown run after a fumble recovery by the Knights defense. Next up was a 30-yard touchdown pass from Conner Ellis to Davis Durkin to put the Knights up 13-0. Luke Sarzier capped off the first quarter with a 25-yard touchdown run to extend the lead to 20-0.

The defense then added four points on two safeties in the second quarter making it 24-0 at Halftime. Jaylin Baldwin finished off the scoring by returning the opening second-half kickoff 60 yards for a touchdown to make it 31-0. It was a complete game by our team. Next up is St Andrew's.

Go Knights!

Middle School Tennis

The FA Middle School Tennis team traveled to Camden County for their first match of the season against St. Mary's Middle. The Frederica team was victorious against St. Mary's (3-2). FA matches were won in Girls Singles by Ava Wyrick, the Girls Doubles team of Ella Barker and Ava Smith, and the Mixed Doubles team of Kelly Offner and Clifton Gilbert

The FA Boys Singles player Cooper Lamb and the Doubles team of Jack Tronolone and Nik Reinshagen both played solid matches but were unable to match the experience of the St. Marys' players. The FA boys are very talented this year, and with more match play they will soon be on the winning side of these matches. Overall, it was a great win against a tough team.

The Knights took the court and showed Jane Macon how hard they worked as a team. The sets were both close and many times during the match the scores were tied up. The Knights ended up losing 17-25 and 19-25.
