Attention EAI Fellows

Please be aware of the following deadline. All proposed Main Motions must be submitted to EAI by December 4, 2022. Click the link below for a guide to submitting a Main Motion.   

Attention MESA Reps

Meeting Effectiveness Support and Assistance Subcommittee (MESA) will not hold a MESA Resource Call on December 4, 2022. Instead, we are encouraging MESA Reps to attend the TOR Courage to Change eForum on that day at 1:30 PM EST. Please invite greeters and any others interested to attend. We want to ensure that all members in this fellowship to feel welcome and find recovery at FA meetings.

The January Resource Call will take place on January 8, 2023 at 2:30 PM EST.

Informal Fellowship Gathering 

As a way to offer support and provide another opportunity for service, the EAI 12th Step Committee will be hosting another informal fellowship gathering.

In these gatherings, one of our committee members will moderate to introduce a topic for discussion and then will introduce speakers who will each share their experience before opening it up to sharing from anyone who has 90 days of abstinence and who is working with an FA sponsor. Each session will last one hour. 

These informal fellowship gatherings are open to all, so please join us!

Thank-a-Thons 2022

Thank-a-Thons consist of multiple one-hour meetings typically held back-to-back on the morning of Thanksgiving (in the US), or on another day of thankfulness. Most Thank-a-Thons happen between 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, but start times and duration can vary.

If your fellowship is planning to hold a Thank-a-Thon, please add it to the FA Thank-a-Thon calendar by clicking the orange button below.

The EAI 12th Step Committee would like to offer the slide deck options below as a resource that can be used in gatherings that local fellowships/groups are planning for Thanksgiving Day.

Online connection Magazine Writing Session

Join us for an online connection Writing Session sponsored by the WAI Twelfth-Step committee. This 90-minute Writing Session is open to our worldwide fellowship. You need 90 days of abstinence to submit an article, but not to participate in the workshop. All are welcome. 

Check the FA Events Calendar for further details and for some writing prompts to think about ahead of time. Registration is required and is limited to 100 participants. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Zoom meeting. Please contact Susan F., OR at writingsessions@foodaddicts.org with any questions.

Courage to Change

The TOR eForum is an opportunity for all FA members who have felt unwelcome in this fellowship to share their painful experiences, their strength, and the hope of recovery that sustained them. These disclosures may reveal ways in which we can all become more welcoming. 

This eForum is offered in the spirit that we do not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it.
