Looking for a new Design Review Committee Chair. Is it YOU?

For someone with experience in graphic design or creative direction, the position of Design Review Committee (DRC) Chair is an excellent service opportunity to grow in your recovery and guide FA's branding into the digital age. All print and digital materials, including the FA website, fall under the DRC, now looking for a new Chair. Western Area Intergroup Bylaws Revision

Taking into consideration all feedback received, WAI will be voting on these WAI Draft Bylaws on Sunday December 8th, during our WAI meeting at 8:30 AM PT. Here is the summary of the changes from our current WAI bylaws. At that meeting, we will also vote on a Standing Rule of Order motion defining Substantial Unanimity, to match the definition approved at the 2023 World Service Business Conference.

EAI Bylaws Motion - Election Timing Change

The EAI Chair, with the Bylaws Committee, has presented a Motion to change the timing of the EAI Executive Board Elections, and therefore the EAI Committee Chair appointments, away from January/February. Based on feedback received, and to better match WSI terms of service, the proposed dates of nomination and election have been changed to the months of May and June, respectively. You can read the proposed Motion here. The requirements for voting on this motion on December 8th 2024 at the EAI Body Meeting is 2 years of continued abstinence and you must be committed to a Meeting affiliated with FA-EAI or its chapters.

Submit Main Motions to your Intergroup by the end of November

Reminder to submit any proposed Main Motions to EAI or WAI before the end of November! See the EAI Main Motions Guide and WAI Main Motions Submissions Guide for dates and requirements.

Thank-a-Thons

November 28 in the US this year

Thank-a-Thons consist of multiple one hour meetings held back to back on the morning of Thanksgiving (in the US) or on another day of gratitude.
