Western Area Intergroup Bylaws Revision

With the many changes in recent years, Western Area Intergroup (WAI) has developed new proposed bylaws to reflect our current circumstances, applicable law, and best practices. You can also read a summary of the changes from the current bylaws.

There will be two videoconference calls for feedback and suggested amendments on:

• Saturday November 2, 2024 at 4 PM PT
• Sunday November 3, 2024 at 1 PM PT

The vote on our proposed bylaws will be on Sunday December 8, 2024, 8:30 AM PT, during our December WAI meeting.

FA-EAI Service Support Weekend - Registration Closes Oct 18th!

Registration is open until Oct 18th for the in-person Service Support Weekend being held November 15-17 in Arlington, VA. There are 80 tickets left! The 2024 theme is Service: Courage to Change. All are welcome! To register, volunteer for service during the weekend, or for more information, go to the Service Support Weekend web page.

Sponsorship eForum

The WAI, EAI, and the Newcomer Support Committees are hosting a four-part sponsorship eForum. October 20, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. PT/4:00-5:00 p.m. ET will be the final session. There will be short readings from the FA pamphlet on sponsorship, two speakers, and time for sharing from those with six or more months of abstinence working with an FA sponsor. All are welcome to attend.
