Child Care

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) WorkLife Program provides the FAA workforce with resource and referral services to promote work life balance and assist with employee resilience. The Child Care Program at FAA is a valued WorkLife service that enhances the family and strengthens the workforce. One of the most important benefits we can provide our workforce is quality child care. For our employees with young children, on or near-site child care is often a significant factor in meeting responsibilities both at work and at home. The FAA has developed an exemplary child care program consisting of 15 FAA child care centers across the country. Quality child care is also a solid investment in the welfare of children who are the workforce of the future. It is, and will continue to be, a significant component of our vision of excellence.

In support of our child care initiative, a national program manager oversees the development and implementation of child care policy and programs. Under the program's guidance, FAA sites nationwide have established high-quality child development centers designed to meet employees’ needs. All of the child care programs are licensed by their respective state. Additionally, our programs are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
