A supplement to the FAA 2015 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for part 147, aviation maintenance training schools, was made available for public inspection this morning. The official document will publish in tomorrow's federal register.
The revised proposal would provide for "competency-based training and satellite training locations," and "replace national passing norms with a standard pass rate."
