fab! announcement
Your love for the arts will endure forever with a lasting gift to FAB.
By including FAB in your estate plans, you and your family can create a legacy for the future of the arts in Broward County while maximizing the tax benefits of a donation. There are several ways to give, it can be as simple as adding a beneficiary designation to a bank or brokerage account, or contacting your trusted estate planning professional for more options.

Your gift will help support the future of Funding Arts Broward and the Broward arts community. For more information please contact FAB board member Christy Lambertus by phone (954)-772-1680.
The FAB! Scene will be on hiatus for July and August. Are you social? Follow FAB! on Facebook and stay up to date with all things FAB! until we return in September.
grants spotlight
On May 10, FAB members, supporters, and friends gathered at The Main on Las Olas to honor 27 arts organizations in Broward. The organizations received a total of $282,000 in grants for innovative programming and education initiatives in 2023. FAB has donated $4.2 million + to the arts sector since its inception in 2003.

The Grant Awards Ceremony gave members and grantees an opportunity to connect, learn about each arts organizations mission and celebrate in a stunning location. For those who were not able to attend we have added a link to watch the Awards Ceremony Here.

Special thanks to guest speaker John Coates, Senior Relationship Manager at PNC Bank and to the PNC Arts Alive Program for their participation as presenting sponsor. Download the Program Here

Vampire attacks, werewolf sightings, and the resurrection of an Eqyptian Princess all make an appearance in this hilarious send-up of gothic romance and horror films in which two actors and lightning, fast costume changes are the stars of the show. Charles Ludlam and The Ridiculous Theatrical Company were pioneers, now legends in LGBT+ theater, elevating camp to an art form and paving the way for companies like Island City Stage.

The Arts is no longer a charity it's an investment

Funding Arts Broward supports, sustains and enriches the arts in our community. Through the generosity of our corporate partners, FAB can continue to contribute to a diverse and innovative arts landscape. Broward County remains a relevant, rewarding and creative hub for the future as the nonprofit arts and culture sector is a $414.2 million industry. There is no better time than now to come together as members of FAB to increase the annual grant pool. FAB is reaching a tremendous milestone, 20 years of grant making in Broward. As we look forward to the next year of progress we ask that you as members help us in connecting with companies and organizations that align with FAB's mission to support the arts.
