Happy Holidays FAB Members and Friends!
It is my pleasure to introduce you to our recently completed video that tells the story of “Who is Fab.” Our goal is to spread the word about FAB and why it is so important to our community. Please help us do that by sharing the video with others who may have an interest in learning about the FABulous things we do.
Be well,
Ed

GLBX ALLY AWARDS
We are pleased to announce FAB was honored during the 3rd Annual GLBX Business Community Ally Awards with the Advocate BCA Award on November 4 at the Galleria Mall.
Our very own Jane Caragher received the award on behalf of FAB.
We would like to thank the LGBT Chamber for this recognition. We look forward to continuing to build bridges with the LGBT+ community through charitable support of numerous arts organizations.

YOU CAN HELP DECIDE WHO GETS OUR MONEY!
Each year, in February, 50 FAB members evaluate the Grant applications and recommend which organizations should receive our grant dollars. It’s your way to have a personal impact on the arts community. And it’s very rewarding! See what experienced screeners have to say:
Jane Caragher:
“Probably the most fun and most rewarding part of being a member of FAB is the Grants Process. It gives me a chance to get to know my fellow FABers as well as the Grantees we support. I love being able to help direct grant funds to our deserving Grantees. What other organization lets you help decide how your dues are spent?”
Jennifer O’Flannery Anderson:
“For me the grant review process is the most meaningful part of being a member of FAB. We visit with the organization’s leadership, learn about their performances, and consider their most significant elements. For me, I learn about new organizations and even new art forms while working alongside a great group of committed volunteers and making new friends through the process.”
We need a few more screeners. Call Eleanore Levy (954-632-7032) or Mike Hartstein (908-334-0778) to learn more about how you can participate. Last day to register is 12/31/2021

CALLING FAB VISIONARIES
As you are making your year-end giving decisions, please consider a contribution to Fab’s Visionary Fund. Your gift provides additional dollars for grants and supports FAB's operations. It is through an expanding and engaged membership with increased community visibility that FAB can continue to support the Broward Arts Community.
Happy Holidays,
Ruth

ART SHARE 2021
FAB members and guests participated in our popular artist exhibit program, Art Share, on November 19. The night was a great success! We were surrounded by great talent, art enthusiasts, philanthropists and FAB friends as we gathered and were all reminded how the arts bring us together. A special thanks to Blanco y Blanco Arts owner, artist and FAB member Jeanne Lalli for hosting this event. We would also like to recognize Cindy Eden and Jennifer O'Flannery Anderson for all their efforts in coordinating the program.
