Food and Agricultural Sciences National Needs Graduate and Postgraduate Fellowship (NNF) Grants Program
Due January 23
This grant program supports: (1) training students for master's and doctoral degrees in food, agricultural and natural resource sciences; and (2) Special International Study or Thesis/Dissertation Research Travel Allowances (IRTA) for eligible USDA NNF beneficiaries. The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares masters students, PhDs, and postdocs in STEM and social science fields seeking industry careers as data scientists. The program is free for Fellows and supported by sponsorships from hundreds of employers across multiple industries. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
Due February 22
The Sea Grant Knauss Fellowship provides a unique educational and professional experience to graduate students who have an interest in ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. The Fellowship matches highly qualified graduate students with “hosts” in the legislative and executive branch of government located in the Washington, D.C. area, for a one-year paid fellowship.

Scientific Thinkers is a student organization dedicated to providing hands-on science experience to underrepresented young students. 
  • As a member and volunteer, you will be able to teach and mentor students.
  • Make a positive impact on the Columbus community by sharing your knowledge and passion for science.
  • Gain a greater understanding and appreciation for the diversity of the STEM field.

Volunteer visits are available on Tuesdays from 1:00-3: 30 PM. Carpooling is available to and from the elementary school.
