Important Information from OSU Votes
|
|
Many voters have decided to vote early this year, and today (November 2) is deadline to do so! You can find out your county’s early voting center location at voteohio.gov.
Whether you vote early or on Election Day, you will need to have proper voter identification. For Ohio, that includes an unexpired driver’s license or Ohio ID, an unexpired military ID, a paper copy of your Ohio State statement of account, a paper copy of a current utility bill or bank account. Ohio has granted an exemption for anyone whose ID expired after the pandemic began to close BMVs in March. Find out more at voteohio.gov
If you are voting tomorrow on Election Day, you need to check your polling location. The Ohio Union continues to serve as an official polling location. It is the polling location of many, but not all, of students who live on-campus, particularly South campus. There are many polling locations that are the location for both on-campus and off-campus students, and those who are registered to vote in Ohio can confirm their polling location at: ohiosos.gov/elections/voters/toolkit/polling-location/. All of these locations will be following an increased cleaning protocol in alignment with Secretary of State LaRose's guidance to make sure people can vote safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We want every Buckeye to be able to say O-H-I-Voted this year. Email OSU Votes at osuvotes@osu.edu with any questions you have about how to vote this year.
