Advanced BioSystems Workshop

Plant-based products and fuels have the potential to decrease U.S. dependence on petroleum feedstocks, improving energy security, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and creating new industries. The 2021 virtual workshop will bring together experts and interested parties from industry, academia, and state and federal agencies to discuss these challenges and brainstorm the technology, research, and government initiatives needed to address them. Builders Exchange Scholarships
December-February
For the 2020-2021 school year, the BX awarded a record $111,000 in scholarships to students in Central Ohio.
Online applications for the 2021-2022 school year are open from mid-December through February.

Associated General Contractors of Ohio Education Foundation Scholarship
Due February 5
The 2021-2022 Associated General Contractors of Ohio Education Foundation scholarship applications are now available to students pursuing a construction related degree.
 
All applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, have a 2.5 minimum GPA (out of 4.0), and an undergraduate in at least the second year of a 2-year, 4-year or 5-year degree program during the academic year.

The application deadline is February 5, 2021. For questions or additional information about the AGC of Ohio Education Foundation scholarships, contact Parker Brown at AGC of Ohio (614) 486-6446 or parker@agcohio.com.

Ohio No-Till Council College Scholarship Application 2021
Due March 1
The Ohio No-Till Council is offering 5 scholarships ranging from $500-$1,000. These scholarships are one year in length and are open to students who are enrolling or are currently enrolled in a two-year or four-year accredited college program. Preference will be given to those majoring in Agriculture and/or coming from a conservation farming background.

Opportunities
Applications are Open for the Annual OSEP Awards
Grant proposals are due Jan. 29 for the annual OSEP awards. Offered in collaboration with Ohio State Energy Partners and the Office of Academic Affairs, awards between $10,000 and $50,000 will be given to select proposals that promote interdisciplinary and community collaboration. Priority will be given to the following areas: sustainability, leadership development and arts/humanities. Faculty, staff and students are eligible to apply.
