Our next meeting is on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:00 PM in Agricultural Engineering Room 103. We will be having Chipotle and hearing from a panel of FABE seniors. We will be presenting the budget and discussing Midwest Regional Rally.
BX Scholarship Opportunities
Due February 21
Eligible students must be enrolled in or entering a two-year technical program or in a four-year college program and be in a construction-related field of study.

Simpson Strong-Tie Student Scholarship
Due March 13
Eligible students must be incoming juniors/seniors and enrolled in either  Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management fields of study.

FABENG 3171 (Computer Graphics Using AutoCAD) now available ONLINE for Summer Semester 2020
FABE students, do you want to complete one of your courses from home during the Summer?  FABENG 3171 (Computer Graphics Using AutoCAD) is now available  ONLINE this Summer semester. 

The registration number is 21935.  Summer registration begins on Monday, February 17.

  • Complete the course in 8 weeks (Session 2) from 6/2/2020 to 7/24/2020
  • All work is done from home, there are no on campus meetings
  • The AutoCAD software is available to students for FREE
  • All course material is provided online in Carmen 
  • No textbook purchase required

Peer Tutoring Job
Peer Tutors make $9.50 an hour and only have to work 4-8 hours a week. Tutoring shifts are on campus from 7pm-9pm on Sunday-Thursday nights, or 1pm-3pm on Tuesday-Thursday afternoons. If you have earned a B or higher in a math, chemistry, or physics class you are eligible to tutor in the subject.

Consider Donating to Student Life’s Career Closet
Please consider donating your gently used professional clothes, shoes and accessories to the Student Life Career Closet. All donated items will be used to provide a closet where students in need can “shop” for free professional attire. Donations will be accepted through Wednesday, February 19 , and can be dropped off at any one of nine locations. Have a Great Sustainability Idea? Need Funding?
The Sustainability Institute at Ohio State is pleased to offer funding to support undergraduate, graduate or professional student-led academic research or to projects in the areas of sustainability and resilience. Priority will be given to academic research or to projects that directly impact university operations or the campus or connect to our Columbus community and allow opportunities to use our campus as a living laboratory. Deadline:  Feb. 21 .
