Technical Interview Prep

Multimedia Resources Available

Technical interviews are common for engineering, science, or software roles. These interviews assess your technical ability for a role and your knowledge in your chosen field.

Technical interviews are designed to assess problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to think under pressure. These interviews give employers insights as to how you would solve real-world problems at work.

Opportunities

Ongoing Faculty-Led Research Projects

Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry is pleased to announce a new resource to connect students with faculty research projects across campus. We reached out to faculty conducting research in both STEM and Humanities to compile a list of ongoing opportunities that are open to undergraduate students. This information is now on a new tab, Ongoing Faculty-Led Projects under "New Researchers".

Students will still need to send emails of interest to professors, but the list includes:

  • Lab/Project Name
  • Brief Description
  • Student Requirements
  • Website Link (if applicable
  • Who to Contact to Apply

Additionally, see our Research Postings page for new, specific research positions that faculty are looking to fill. This is not a comprehensive list, so check back often for new postings.

LEED Training

Make your resume stand out with the premier sustainability designation called the LEED Green Associate! LEED is simply a sustainability scorecard for green buildings. As buildings can become LEED Certified, people can become LEED accredited! The best way to break into the sustainability space is to attain the LEED Green Associate. It also shows employers and clients you have certified knowledge in the field. Since the LEED GA exam doesn’t have a stellar pass rate, the value of the extra letters behind your name will carry even more weight.

Our engaging webinars have helped over 10K students and professionals learn the material cold AND clear the exam with a very high passing rate. The LEED Professional Designation has helped past participants attain internships and jobs and now is a great time to add this credential.
