KNOWLEDGE EXPRESSED (KXPRESS)
A Creative Science Communication Scholarship Opportunity

Due November 22
We know that students are creative and have great ideas for communicating knowledge. The Knowledge Exchange is looking to help amplify those ideas while providing scholarships up to $500 for selected finalists. We are looking for students to develop creative knowledge communication projects around one of a few Grand Challenges: water quality, rural-urban interface, farm and community stress, food security, and food waste. There is not a set submission format to follow. (Again, we’re looking for creativity!) More information can be found at kx.osu.edu/announcement/KXPRESS. Submissions are due on November 22 at 11:59pm and can be uploaded via Qualtrics at go.osu.edu/KXPRESS.

The Office of International Affairs launches the Global Engagement Certificate Program
The Office of International Affairs' Global Engagement Certificate Program is a new opportunity for Ohio State students to enhance their college experience while becoming global citizens. By participating, students will be exposed to cultural perspectives different from their own and will develop the skills and confidence needed to communicate with others from different cultural backgrounds while fostering meaningful interactions and relationships. Students must indicate their intent to pursue the certificate by October 16.

Have an event or announcement to share with FABE students, faculty, and staff? Submit your event or announcement name, date, location, and a brief description to fabe@osu.edu. Submissions must be received by noon the Thursday before the newsletter goes out.
