Awards will be given to up to 5 applicants, totaling $3000-4000. An applicant must be in his or her 1st or 2nd year at Ohio State University and majoring in a STEM-related field, including science, technology, engineering, math, and architecture.

Join the Texnikoi Engineering Honorary
Applications Open through October 4
Interested in joining an engineering honorary that recognizes students for their on-campus involvement and leadership? Then  Texnikoi Engineering Honorary  is for you! We will be accepting applications now through Friday, October 4 th . The application is open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the college of engineering.  Follow this link to apply:  go.osu.edu/tnk2019 .
 
Texnikoi is an engineering honorary comprised of students who are making impacts on Ohio State’s campus and on the Columbus community.
  • Founded in 1924, Texnikoi is an honorary that serves to recognize engineering and architecture students who excel academically and have demonstrated involvement and leadership on campus.
  • Texnikoi creates an environment of opportunity for the members by networking and engaging with engineering students of various disciplines.
  • Texnikoi provides space for students to socialize and adopt soft skills that are crucial to being recruited for jobs.
  • Members participate in monthly meetings at Donato’s Pizza and service events around Columbus.
  • We also award multiple scholarships each year exclusively to our members!

Buckeye Peer Access Line (PAL)
Student Life’s Student Wellness Center offers a new university initiative, the Buckeye Peer Access Line (PAL). The PAL is a non-emergency talk line that provides a space for students to engage in brief phone conversations to gain support and learn about campus resources. Student volunteers are available to provide peer-to-peer assistance that promotes and enhances student development and wellbeing. 
 
Students can contact the PAL at 614-514-3333 about a variety of topics; including but not limited to the following:
  • Adjusting to college and university life
  • Balancing stress management
  • Managing platonic, romantic and family relationships
  • Feeling pressure to succeed
  • Navigating personal and social identities 
Buckeye PAL operates weekdays from 8 p.m. to midnight when classes are in session during fall and spring semesters. Call 614-514-3333 or visit go.osu.edu/buckeyepal
Student Life Wellness Center is Recruiting Wellness Coaches
The application can be found at  go.osu.edu/joinwc .
 
Wellness Coaches meet one-on-one with students to help increase their ability to create the life they want to live. Wellness Coaches take a positive approach to personal development, focusing on strengths and using the 9 Dimensions of Wellness as a framework for generating individualized, meaningful goals.

Wellness Ambassadors Recruiting
Wellness Ambassadors support the mission of Student Life, which aims to promote wellness among OSU students and their communities. Wellness Ambassadors deliver educational presentations in a variety of settings and work together to plan, publicize, and implement campus events highlighting the 9 dimensions of wellness.
