Each semester, the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering hosts a seminar series for graduate students, faculty, and guests. Speakers include Ohio State faculty and staff, international experts in current topics, and students sharing updates on their research. Apply for the AWARES Program

Junior and Senior women studying engineering and STEM fields should consider applying to join the AWARES program. Aspiration for Women’s Advancement and Retention in Engineering and Science (AWARES) is a two semester long program focusing on career management skills to prepare women STEM students for a smooth transition from college to next phase in your life such as work place, graduate school, or professional school.

Virtual Desktop Now Available

Virtual Desktop allows instructors and students to virtually access a select set of software applications from anywhere with internet access. This cloud access enables extended use of these applications for students outside of physical lab spaces and allows instructors to provide the same coursework for both in-person and remote learning. Visit the Virtual Desktop page to learn more, including the software that is available, and connect to the tool. 

Adobe Creative Cloud Access

All students (including graduate and professional) have free access to the entire Adobe Creative Cloud suite through the university. Students will need to visit adobe.osu.edu to opt in and activate their license.
