Learn to quilt – or improve your technique – with Australian superstar quilter Megan | |

Whether you're new to quilting or want to improve and extend your techniques, we have just the workshops for you this Spring here in Henley-on-Thames, courtesy of award-winning Australian quilter and teacher Megan Manwaring.
Starting on Thursday, February 22nd, and running over four monthly morning sessions, Megan's Beginners Patchwork Workshop will teach you the basics, starting with rotary cutting and preparing your pieces, and in each session you'll learn to make a new patchwork block.
Thursday afternoons from February 22nd are for those wanting to tune and expand their patchwork techniques: Megan's Build Your Patchwork Skills sessions again run over four monthly sessions, and will teach you new blocks you can use to make a sampler quilt or cushions. We'll be learning techniques including free-form half square triangles, 'wonky' pineapple and log cabin, and cut and insert blocks.
Come and join in – the workshops are fun and friendly, and Megan is a brilliant quilter and tutor.

Delphine Brooks isn't just a brilliant appliqué designer – she also leads fun workshops where she shares her skills. Come along on February 28th and learn from Delphine how to make her Derek the Donkey design, or her highland cow.
Then on the 29th she'll be leading her Confetti Quilting Workshop, where we'll be making this atmospheric woodland scene.

Available later in the Spring – and now available to pre-order – is Delphine's new Flower Collection, which will feature six new appliqué designs in a choice of natural or vibrant colourways.
Like her previous Farmyard Collection (seen below and still available), the new designs will be available as pre-printed panels from Lewis & Irene, complete with all the fabric you'll need, plus an outline template and full instructions printed on the fabric itself.
Make sure you order your Flower Collection now – the farmyard panels have been hugely popular, and some of the animals are already out of print.
