We just had our September Board meeting with lots going on.
The Board approved the budget for the 2025-2026 year. I am sorry to say that it will be without a live Conference next spring. Stay tuned for updates on a virtual conference to be held over a period of mornings with super workshops and webinars.
The Board also approved the amendment to the Bylaws, Article VI Committees. The Bylaws committee had been working on modifications to Article VI for some time. It needed serious updating in descriptions for the existing standing committees and it needed the addition of several committees to the standing committee level. The ultimate purpose is to make things more efficient while spreading the tasks out to more people.
Pam Masters reported from the Strategic Planning Committee that we are in for some changes to help solidify things with the organization. We are talking about fiscal and branding changes. More to come from the committee on that issue.
I am pleased to see the Practice Groups being so active with educational and social programs going on throughout the State. Please consult the Website Calendar for information on continuing programming.
Grand Rounds begins again this month, September 19 at noon. Great program to begin the year featuring Bob Merlin, Marta Alfonso, Lana Stern and yours truly. Register in advance for this meeting:
