Dear Parents,

As we approach the holy season of Lent, we would like to invite you to participate in our Lent projects with your children. These projects are a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and deepen their faith during this important time in the Catholic calendar. We encourage you to join us in our efforts to cultivate spiritual growth and encourage charitable works among our students. Please read on to learn more about these opportunities and how your family can get involved.

2023/2024 FACS Athletic Registration

The UWGB Women's Basketball Team is hosting a special game day for Father Allouez (and St. Bernard) students, staff, and families! The Green Bay Phoenix will be taking on the Detroit Mercy Titans at home on Saturday, February 24th at 1:00 PM.

Any students who are sitting in our designated section will be entered for a chance to participate in on-court games that take place during media timeouts. The winners of these games earn a prize!

This is a really fun opportunity for our students and families to get together and enjoy time together outside of school. UWGB Women's basketball games are a family friendly atmosphere. Our school counselor, Mrs. Borseth, is married to the UWGB Women's basketball coach and he and his program always appreciate your support! It will be an opportunity you won't want to miss!

In order to do this, we need Virtus trained volunteers - please consider signing up for a shift to support this effort. If there are not enough volunteers signed up by Tuesday, February 20, supervised play will not take place.

Supervised play will take place at the St. Matt's campus in the church gathering area from 3:30pm until 7:30pm. Only registered FACS students may be dropped off and a parent/guardian must be attending a conference at the St. Matt's campus while their child is at supervised play.

Alpha Starts Up Again on Sunday, January 21

We will be restarting Alpha again on Sunday, January 21! Alpha is a video series that invites us to explore some of life’s biggest questions. Each session lasts roughly 90 minutes and includes snacks, a video, and discussion with other FACS parents. Everyone is invited to participate, regardless of their faith background.

Even if you didn’t attend our first sessions in December, you are more than welcome to join us. The dates and times for the remainder of the year are listed below and we’d love to have you for as many as you can make. To make it easier for parents to attend, we are offering free child care at each session. Simply sign up here (https://forms.gle/qM25TeEKSt8Pd72HA) so we can plan for food and child care.

NDA News - February

Class of 2028:

We are still accepting applications for the Class of 2028. The application is linked here.

Save the Date: Spanish Placement Exam:

SAVE THE DATE! The Spanish placement exam can be taken by any incoming freshman that has already registered at Notre Dame Academy for the 2024-2025 school year to help determine whether the student should be placed in a Spanish I or Spanish II course. If you know that you would like your son/daughter to start in Spanish I, he/she should NOT take the placement exam. Incoming freshmen interested in enrolling in Spanish II must take the placement exam. The test will be offered on-site at NDA on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. If there is a conflict with this date, please note that the make-up test date will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 3:30-4:30pm. Students MUST make one of these dates in order to enroll in Spanish 2.
