February 28, 2024
Dear Parents,
A few things to note before we embark on a much-anticipated spring break:
- The 2nd trimester report card and winter STAR Testing report was sent home today with your child in an envelope. Please look for that and bring it with you to your parent teacher conference on Thursday or Friday of this week if you have any questions.
- We are celebrating Read Across America on Friday. This is in honor of Dr. Suess’s Birthday. Yikes Stripes! We will have a no dress code day and students will be encouraged to wear stripes like the Cat in the Hat or dress as any other Dr. Suess character.
-
Friday, March 1st is an early dismissal day, 11:15 at the St. Matthew Campus and 11:30 at the Resurrection Campus. THERE WILL BE NO AFTER CARE AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 1ST.
- Middle School Students, grade 5 - 8, are attending a play at the Weidner Center on Monday, March 11, 2024. All students should wear a uniform on that day.
As we look forward to the break I hope you have some time to spend with your loved ones, engage in some activities that bring you joy, whether it’s a family vacation, a leisurely stroll in nature or enjoying a good book, I hope you find moments of rest and relaxation that nourish your soul.
As we look ahead to the remainder of the school year, let's continue to work together to support our students' academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and overall development. With your continued partnership, I am confident that we will finish this year on a high note, celebrating the remarkable achievements of our students and staff.
Wishing you all a safe, restful, and rejuvenating spring break. Let's come back refreshed and ready to make the most of the time we have left together this school year.
Growing in GRACE,
Kay Franz

FACS Families -
As we reflect on the incredible success of this year's school fundraiser, we can't help but
envision an even more fantastic event next year. The key ingredient? Your involvement!
Our school community is a powerhouse of talent, enthusiasm, and creativity, and with
your unique skills and passion, we can take our fundraising efforts to new heights.
Imagine the impact we can make when we come together as a team.
Whether you're a marketing wizard, a social media maven, or simply someone with a
heart for making a difference, there's a place for you. Your support and involvement will
not only contribute to the success of our annual event but also create lasting memories
and a sense of community spirit.
Let's turn next year's fundraiser into a celebration of collaboration, positivity, and fun! I
invite you to join the fundraiser planning committee, share your ideas, and help make a
significant impact on the educational experience of our children.
If you're interested, please connect with Heather Milbach at h.brosig.milbach@gmail.com and we can explore how your talents and interests align with our fundraising goals. Together, we can make a real difference and show our children the power of community involvement.
We look forward to creating something amazing together!
Warm regards,
The FACS Site Advisory Council

2023 Tax Season & Tuition Information
Wisconsin Tax Deduction for Tuition Expense
Tax legislation signed into law gives Wisconsin taxpayers the opportunity to deduct private school tuition expenses from their taxable income. A subtraction from income is allowed for tuition expenses that are paid for any of the GRACE schools. Parents/guardians are eligible for a maximum deduction of $4,000 per child in grades K-8 and $10,000 per child in grades 9-12. Students transitioning from eighth to ninth grade are eligible for both deductions. Per state guidance, any amount spent on tuition and book fees are eligible for the deduction. Book fees include digital books, such as laptops or tablet fees issued by the school.
Tuition information for tax preparation is available to GRACE families online via GRACE’s enrollment management system, TADS.
- The TADS Household Paid Tuition Tax Report will provide a breakdown of payments made for the specified household’s tuition account during the tax year.
- When gathering information for tax preparation, GRACE families are to access their TADS account | select Billing | Billing Account Number | Reports | Household Paid Tuition Tax Report | enter the tax year (i.e. 2023) and submit.
- A quick link to this Report also appears at the TADS Billing Account – Tuition & Fees screen to access the Household Paid Tuition Tax Report.
