January 22, 2025

Dear Father Allouez Catholic School Families,

The 7th graders enjoyed their time up at Camp Tek this past week. Highlights from the days include walking out on the frozen Loon Lake and playing hockey on it as well, football in the snow, and a wonderful reflection in the chapel led by the great staff of Camp Tek. Needless to say, this was a wonderful opportunity that the students were able to partake in – our next and final trip to Camp Tek is not until later in the year (May) for the 8th graders before they graduate! What a perfect way to capstone their years here at FACS!

This upcoming weekend also kicks off the celebration of Catholic Schools all over the world – Catholic Schools Week! Please see the flier below about all of the fun events and attractions that will be happening at both campuses. By far, the most important day of the week is going to be Wednesday: on this day, both campuses will be coming together to celebrate mass, have a campus-wide picture taken, and then participate in games in the afternoon (the CP Carnival)! We will also be honoring and celebrating Adele Brise at this mass as it is her birthday during CSW! On Friday, the students from both campuses will also be going bowling at local bowling alleys to get out into the community for some fun as well. I want to thank each of you for answering the call with a resounding “YES!” to Catholic Education. It is truly through great relationships with families and parents, that we are able to thrive and provide quality, faith-filled education for all of your children. God bless you all!

A Prayer to Our Lady of Champion

O Dear Lady of Champion, you revealed yourself as the Queen of Heaven to your servant Adele. You gave her a mission to pray for the conversion of sinners, to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to others and to prepare the children for the reception of the sacraments.

I trust that as you called Adele to holiness, you are calling me, in my station in life, to live a holy life, devoted to Jesus Christ with the help of your maternal love.

I bring before you now my worries and anxieties. I abandon my attachments to them and place them at your feet. I ask you to hear the deepest longings of my heart as I pray most earnestly for: ____________ (your intention).

Dear Lady, you told Adele and you say to all of us “Do not be afraid; I will help you.” Help me now as I place this intention with complete confidence and trust.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.

Academic Calendar 2025-26

We are pleased to share the Board-approved GRACE academic calendar for the 2025-26 school year which is available at gracesystem.org | About GRACE | Calendar (direct link to the one-page summary).

Please note that Christmas break will be extended to two full weeks due to the timing of Christmas and New Year’s Day. To ensure the school year does not extend further, schools are open and classes will be held on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and on Easter Monday.

Looking ahead, we anticipate returning to our traditional schedule with these days off in the following school year, along with a shorter Christmas break.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we adjust to this unique calendar.
