A very happy Catholic Schools Week to you all! This whole week has been an absolute blast for our students – a few of the highlights so far have included a Disney-themed trivia game (with a dance party included, of course!) at St. Matt's Campus. While our older students at Resurrection Campus had a very inspirational guest speaker join them for the afternoon yesterday. It all comes together today with our all-campus day of mass, group picture, and CP Carnival which is being headed up by our wonderful 8th grade class! On Thursday night this week, our families and students will be taking part in a dodgeball tournament before rounding out the week with some time celebrating with one another while bowling! Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this a wonderful week for the staff, faculty, and students!
Enrollment has also begun for FACS! You should have already received information on how to complete this process. If you have not received it or have any questions on how to do so, please reach out to the school office and we will be able to assist you with this process. We look forward to another great school year in 2025-26 with you all!
A Prayer to Our Lady of Champion
January 30th marks the birthday of Adele Brise. Given that she experienced multiple visions of the Blessed Mother, I have decided to keep this prayer to Our Lady of Champion in our newsletter for this week. I hope that you are able to find time to pray it on your own and to make a pilgrimage out to the Shrine sometime soon as well!
O Dear Lady of Champion, you revealed yourself as the Queen of Heaven to your servant Adele. You gave her a mission to pray for the conversion of sinners, to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to others and to prepare the children for the reception of the sacraments.
I trust that as you called Adele to holiness, you are calling me, in my station in life, to live a holy life, devoted to Jesus Christ with the help of your maternal love.
I bring before you now my worries and anxieties. I abandon my attachments to them and place them at your feet. I ask you to hear the deepest longings of my heart as I pray most earnestly for: ____________ (your intention).
Dear Lady, you told Adele and you say to all of us “Do not be afraid; I will help you.” Help me now as I place this intention with complete confidence and trust.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
Our Lady of Champion, pray for us.
