July 23, 2025

Dear Father Allouez Catholic School Families,

I hope that the summer heat and weather in general has not deterred anyone from being able to enjoy these past few weeks. Here at school, there has been a lot of work getting done in order to ensure that the school year starts off on a great note! In this edition of the summer newsletter, we are including the most up-to-date calendar of events that are taking place. Please make sure to review it and reach out with any questions that you may have.

As always, if you have questions or would like to speak to someone in the office, please contact either campus via phone or email or reach out directly to me at fdempsey@gracesystem.org.

Building Projects

There are a lot of projects happening this summer to help improve the campuses – both inside and outside of the buildings!

At the St. Matthew campus, the gym floor will be worked on to address some of the concerns with water spots and general wear and tear. On top of this, the campus has also added new security cameras to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families. There has also been a lot of landscaping done outside.

Meanwhile, the Resurrection campus has also seen a fair share of work since the last update: all of the old lockers on the first floor are completely out and brand new ones have taken their place! On top of this, there is now a great area for art work to be hung up and displayed throughout the year. We are also repurposing the display case from near the St. Matthew gym to be used as another art display case at Resurrection!

New Family Orientation

First and foremost, welcome to all of our new families – we are so excited to have you join us here at Father Allouez Catholic School! In order to make the transition a little easier for you, I will be hosting a new family orientation night on August 13th at both campuses. The orientation for St. Matthew families will start at 6PM at the school; the orientation for Resurrection families will start at 6:50PM. If you have students at both campuses, I do recommend attending both – child care will be provided at both campuses as well. We look forward to seeing you all soon. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Dempsey at fdempsey@gracesystem.org.

Calendar of Events

See below for the calendar of events for the 25-26 school year link.

Please review it and let us know if you have any questions! Also, please keep in mind that all dates and times are subject to change. Should this happen, ample time and notification will be provided.

You will also see that "All Campus" masses have been added. These masses will bring both Resurrection and St Matthew students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade together for mass at the campus listed. Please feel welcome to come worship with our school community!

Peace,

Mr. Francis Dempsey
