March 5, 2025

Dear Father Allouez Catholic School Families,

First and foremost, I want to wish all of you a very happy beginning to the season of Lent. It was so wonderful to see the church packed at both campuses with the students, teachers, staff, families, and other worshippers coming together for one of the most outwardly reminders of our own faith journey: the distribution of ashes. The many voices that came together during the songs of worship were truly moving and I thank you all for your active participation in the mass!

As a reminder to everyone, students are officially off from school starting at 11:15AM (SMS) & 11:30AM (RES) this Friday until Monday, March 17th for Spring Break. Teachers/Office at both schools will be are officially off/closed starting at 3:30PM Friday until Monday, March 17th. The office at both schools will also be closed. We hope all of you have a wonderful and restful time off from school and wish all of you who are travelling safe travels.

Lastly, I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who helped to make the VIP dance a great success! From my spot over at the DJ table, I counted well over 100 students in attendance – not to mention all of the adults as well! This was a great community-wide event and I look forward to hosting this event in the future. Special thanks to everyone who also bought concessions. All of the proceeds will benefit the 8th grade graduation and we managed to raise $345!

Conferences – Last Reminder!

Conferences will be held at both campuses over the next two days. If you have not signed up yet for a conference, please make sure that you do soon! If you cannot make a certain day or slot but would still like to have a conference, please reach out to the teacher to schedule a conference. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Academic Calendar 2025-26

We are pleased to share the Board-approved GRACE academic calendar for the 2025-26 school year which is available at gracesystem.org | About GRACE | Calendar (direct link to the one-page summary).

Please note that Christmas break will be extended to two full weeks due to the timing of Christmas and New Year’s Day. To ensure the school year does not extend further, schools are open and classes will be held on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and on Easter Monday.

Looking ahead, we anticipate returning to our traditional schedule with these days off in the following school year, along with a shorter Christmas break.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we adjust to this unique calendar.
