Dear Father Allouez Catholic School Families,
I hope that you all had a wonderful time at the Auction! All of the work that went into making the night happen is greatly appreciated by everyone!
It might also seem hard to believe, but we are coming up on less than two weeks remaining in the trimester. This means that teachers will begin to finalize grades based upon the work that has been assigned and graded. I highly encourage you all to check PowerSchool and to have your students look at their grades so that if there are any missing assignments, they can talk to the teacher(s) in the next few days to see if they can still submit work. As a reminder, this is at the discretion of the teacher(s) and something that was due back a few weeks ago might not be permitted.
Lastly, in order to help continue to be the bridge between the two campuses, grades 3 and 4 will be adopting the referral system that the middle school has in place. This system helps to keep track of behavior and academic issues that arise and also quantifies them. If a student receives three of these referrals, they will serve a detention after school which will be overseen by the principal. If a referral is sent home, please ensure that it is signed and returned the following day. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.

Food Drive – Paul’s Pantry
In the spirit of embracing Encouraging Service to others, both St. Matthew and Resurrection campuses will be collecting food and other nonperishable items leading up to Thanksgiving Break. Our theme for this drive is called “Stuff the Atrium” – all items delivered to SMS will be kept in the atrium area and we hope to completely fill it along with all of the items brought to RES. Please see the attachment in order to see what the guidelines are for donations to Paul’s Pantry; all donations should be in by Monday, November 25th. Thank you in advance for considering donating!
Auction
A massive shoutout and thank you goes to everyone who helped to make our Auction, the Roaring 20s, a huge success! The night went incredibly well and the décor and activities were amazing to behold! I would also like to thank everyone who bid on or bought items from the auction – your outpouring of support will go towards helping to ensure a great, Catholic education for all of the students.
Peace,
Mr. Francis Dempsey
