Dear Father Allouez Catholic School Families,
As we gear up for our annual fundraiser, I want to emphasize why these efforts are so important. Through programs like SCRIP and our Roaring 20's fundraiser, we aim to meet a goal of raising $104,000, but the impact goes far beyond that—these funds help us improve our school buildings, support our dedicated staff, and enhance programming for our students.
We rely on the collective efforts of all families to volunteer and make this event a success. Your participation truly makes a difference. If you haven’t done so already, purchase your tickets, sign up to volunteer and join us for this exciting evening.
Lastly, we are making some changes to bar service this year due to updates in the state’s liquor licensing laws. For details, please see the full explanation in the Special Edition Site Advisory Newsletter.
Thank you for your ongoing support, and let’s make this year’s fundraiser our best yet!

Star Testing Reports
Today, Wednesday October 16th, we will be sending home the Star reports for each student. This report will look new to you – we have switched to the student report for families. This report will showcase all of the usual data you are used to and also begin to chart throughout the year how your child(ren) is/are performing over time. If you have any questions regarding how to read or interpret the data, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher or the main office.
Parent/Teacher Conferences
It is almost that time of year – conferences are right around the corner! The Sign Up Genius is below for conferences. I have a few tips for everyone to ensure a successful conference:
- The time will go quickly. What is the most important thing you want the parents/teacher to learn/know?
- Look over any schoolwork: in case there are questions about a specific grade? This is a great opportunity to discuss it!
- Make a list of questions. I know that I have forgotten a thing or two over the years (more, if you ask my wife!) so having a short list of questions you want to ask is a great idea!
- After the conference is over, make sure to have a conversation with your child(ren) as well. They are likely curious about what was discussed and should know.
We look forward to seeing you all soon for conferences at both campuses!
Peace,
Mr. Francis Dempsey
