Dear Parents,

I want to highlight a few things in today's communication.

The prestigious Golden Apple Award recognizes exceptional Greater Green Bay teachers. Nominations for teachers and teams of teachers who have made a positive impact are being accepted now through October 27, 2023 at 3pm. Please show your support and take some time to nominate our fantastic Father Allouez teachers. Here is the link to the nomination form. https://greatergreenbaychamber.typeform.com/to/THLGkS4W

We have three special dress days coming up. This Thursday, October 26th , is a Packer or other team jersey day.  Students may wear Packer/sports team tops with uniform bottoms because of the Packer home game this weekend.

On Halloween, Tuesday October 31st, the children in Preschool and Kindergarten may wear Halloween costumes to school and all of the other students in grades 1 through grade 8 can have a full dress down day if they get in the holiday spirit and dress in black, orange or purple. Jeans and sweatpants are acceptable, no leggings or pajama pants.

The annual FACS Gala, Back to the Future, auction and entertainment evening is November 11th. In anticipation of the auction, on November 10th, the students may get their 1980’s vibe on. Dig out their leg warmers, neon colors, velvet sweatsuits, shoulder pads and baggy harem pants for a fun day of going back to the future.

Other Special Events Coming Up

Thursday, October 26 is a special FACS Wolf Community Day. The students from the Resurrection Building will be bussed to St. Matthew Campus for an All School Mass at 8:30.

Following the Mass, the middle school students will be leading the Kindergarten through grade 5 students in educational games and activities. Remember that tomorrow, Thursday, is an early dismissal day with the St. Matthew Campus releasing at 11:15 and the Resurrection Campus dismissing at 11:30. No school on Friday.

All Saints Day is November 1st and as is the tradition at the St. Matthew Campus any student in Kindergarten through grade 4 that would like to dress as a saint may join the parade of saints at the beginning of Mass.

Back to the Future FACS annual fundraiser is November 11th. Get your tickets for a fun night of community building and entertainment. If you haven’t signed up to get your 5 hours of volunteer time there are plenty of opportunities still available.

The stores are letting us know Christmas is on the way. The Christmas concerts this year are scheduled for:
