Newsletter from Principal Franz

September 20, 2023

Dear Father Allouez School Community,

Sunday evening, September 17 was the GRACE Family Mass for the opening of the year. It was an inspiring experience. If you have never attended a 6:00 PM Mass at Prince of Peace the music is phenomenal. You should treat yourself to the experience. Each year we honor an outstanding volunteer from our school. As we all know there are many, many volunteers that are needed to make our community a success so it is extremely difficult to choose just one person. But this year we honored a parent who has been with Father Allouez for over 10 years. Below was my tribute to Ann Farone for the many ways and years of service she has given to Father Allouez School.

In the heart of the Father Allouez School community, there is a role model of unwavering faith and boundless generosity—a dedicated volunteer whose commitment to our students, parents, and staff is outstanding. Today, I would like to honor Ann Farone for her willingness to serve our community with a heart overflowing with faith and smile that lights up our hallways.

Ann is a true guardian of the faith, and her unwavering devotion to sharing her spiritual journey with our school community has inspired us all. Whether it's baking cookies for the Nativity of Mary celebration, offering her time to organize playground supervisors so the teachers can get a break for lunch, or assisting in the school offices and classrooms, her tireless efforts have made our school a better place for everyone.

In honoring Ann Farone tonight, we not only celebrate her contributions but also express our deep gratitude for the love, warmth, and faith she brings to our school. Thank you, Ann, for being a shining example of faith, love, and selfless service.

Thank you also to ALL of the families who give so generously to Father Allouez Catholic School.

Growing in GRACE,

Kay Franz

Service Hours Tracking

This 2023-2024 school year, the Site Advisory Council (SAC) is implementing a new volunteer tracking system, Track It Forward. This system will allow families to be able to track their own hours throughout the school year and notify families when volunteers are needed. Each family will be issued one login based on the email of the primary contact in the TADS account. Please watch your emails the next couple of days for the invite to arrive.

For guides on the system visit: https://fatherallouezschool.org/family-involvement/service-hours-tracking/
