FAEA was pleased to announce earlier this month the winner of the 2023 Youth Art Month Flag Design Competition! Fourth-grade student Danny Huang will have their flag displayed at the National Art Education Association (NAEA) Convention along with other states' winners. Don't forget to submit your students' artwork to the 2023 K-12 Student Art Assessment & Virtual Exhibition. This is Florida's premier program for assessing student artwork, as well as promoting the artistic achievements of these students and their teachers. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Check out the FAEA website to learn more about this student opportunity.

2023 YAM Flag Design Winner Announced!
FAEA has announced the winner of the 2023 Youth Art Month Flag Design Competition, Danny Huang!

Congratulations to Danny and their teacher, Lisette Riberon, from Bay Lake Elementary in Orange County!

Danny's flag, Keep the Earth Clean and the Rivers Evergreen, will represent the state of Florida and be displayed with other state YAM flags during the 2023 National Art Education Association (NAEA) Convention in San Antonio in April.
