Happy July! I hope this update finds you all well and enjoying the summer season. As we continue to bask in the warmth of the sun, I wanted to share some exciting news and reminders with you all.
First and foremost, mark your calendars for our upcoming FAEA Annual Conference in St. Pete! This is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together as a community, learn from one another, and celebrate the importance of art education. Whether you're a seasoned educator or just starting out on your journey, there's something for everyone at our conference. I can't wait to see you all there!
On a celebratory note, if you or someone you know has a birthday in July, be sure to let us know so we can celebrate you on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Your contributions to our community are truly appreciated, and we want to take this opportunity to show our gratitude.
During the conference, we will be hosting a 'Board Meet and Greet' with the purpose of getting to know our fellow members, answering questions, listening to suggestions, and encouraging involvement. As part of our mission to promote art education through professional development and leadership, the conference serves as both an opportunity to share and educate, as well as an invitation to step forward and lead. Your voices and perspectives are invaluable, and I encourage each and every one of you to take an active role in shaping the future of our organization.
