President's Message

Engage With Teaching and Learning: Your Involvement Matters!

Dear FAEA Family,

As we stride forward into the heart of our strategic plan, it's time to focus on Core Area 3: Teaching and Learning. Our commitment to continuously provide quality, varied, and current professional development programming is the cornerstone of our organization. It's through innovative knowledge-sharing, tools, resources, and evidence-based practices that we empower each member to thrive in their artistic journey.

Here's where you come in. We're calling on each of you to actively engage in this core area by contributing dynamic proposals for our upcoming conference in October. This is your chance to share your expertise, insights, and passion with our community. Let's come together to inspire, educate, and elevate one another.

Moreover, as we celebrate Youth Art Month, let's amplify our impact by showcasing the creativity and talent of our young artists. I encourage you to share their artworks and stories on our social media platforms. Turn the trickle into a flood and let's ignite conversations, foster connections, and spread the joy of art far and wide.

Your involvement is pivotal in shaping the future of our organization and the artistic landscape at large. Together, let's make a difference.

Warm regards,

Latonya Hicks

FAEA President
