FAEA is currently developing an amazing summer program with creative workshops that will be held in-person throughout the state. Consider submitting it to FAEA’s Member Virtual Exhibition. March Recap

K-12 Student Art Assessment & Virtual Exhibition Scores and certificates will be available in April. Thank you to all the teachers and students who participated in the 2023 K-12 Student Art Assessment & Virtual Exhibition! FAEA had the largest turnout in recent years with over 1800 student artwork entries! Results All entries, regardless of their payment status and signed release forms, are currently being adjudicated by trained jurors. Teachers will be notified of their students' scores by mid-April. Virtual Exhibition Entries receiving an "Award of Excellence with Distinction" will be featured in a virtual exhibition highlighting all artworks awarded with a perfect score. Entries that received an "Award of Excellence" or an "Award of Excellence with Distinction" will have their artwork in their school division's virtual exhibition (Elementary, Middle School, High School). FAEA will announce to members in mid-April when the 2023 virtual exhibitions are available. Release Forms If you haven't done so already, please send your signed photo release forms to info@faea.org. We also encourage you to login to your account and double-check to ensure the release forms you have sent are marked as "received."

2023 NAEA Award Winners We were excited to announce in March that fellow members Miriam Machado and Britt Feingold, as well as FAEA, are recipients of three National Art Education Association (NAEA) Awards this year! NAEA National Museum Education Art Educator Award Miriam Machado Frost Museum of Art at FIU Miami-Dade County NAEA Florida Art Educator Award Britt Feingold Lake Worth Community High School Palm Beach County NAEA Website Award Category II FAEA The 2023 NAEA Award Winners will be honored at the NAEA Convention in San Antonio in April. Congratulations to Miriam Machado, Britt Feingold, and the volunteers and staff that contribute to FAEA's website!
