Greetings!

It's not too late to have your students participate in the 2023 Youth Art Month (YAM) Flag Design Competition! Encourage your students to submit a flag design that represents the state of Florida and incorporates the theme "Your Art, Your Voice." The winning design will be displayed among other states' winners at the National Art Education Association Convention in San Antonio in April. The deadline to submit your students' flag designs is Sunday, December 4th, 2022. Visit the FAEA website to learn more.

Submissions are also open for the 2023 K-12 Student Art Assessment & Virtual Exhibition. This is Florida's premier program for assessing student artwork, as well as promoting the artistic achievements of these students and their teachers. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Check out the FAEA website to learn more about this student opportunity.
