TEACHING IS READY
JUNE 2021 MONTHLY LETTER

Christianity is called the great confession. One of the teachings of the Bible is about the importance of the words we speak.

I remember one time the Lord told me, “be careful with the sayings of your mouth”. We must guard our mouth all the time, that no word of death or unbelief comes out of our mouth.

James 3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

Say what God says about you or what He says who you are, do not speak contrary to that.

God changes Abram’s name to Abraham and promises Abraham that he will become the father of many nations. Abram means high father or patriarch; Abraham means father of multitude. God was changing Abraham’s confession. Every time Abraham said his name, he was speaking God’s promise and building his faith. Remember Abraham was called the father of faith.

Genesis 17:5 No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.

Let God’s word be in your heart, mind, and mouth. Speak only God’s word!

Someone may ask, “what about my problems”? My brother and sister, faith does not deny the reality of the situation, it declares the power of God in the face of the circumstances.

Matthew 21:21-22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Remember Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist was made mute because he did not believe, the Lord did not want him to speak contrary to His will. Read Luke 1:11-20, speak words of faith all the time!

Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

God wants to change your confession from doubt to faith.

Matthew 12:34 For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
It is important to meditate in the word of God day and night, so that we can change our confession with the truth of the word of God. What we speak out of our hearts comes forth as words of faith. Our hearts and mouths are then aligned with the truth of God’s word.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak…

Speak words of faith, and only faith!
