FALL CLEANING

We have all heard about “spring cleaning”. What about “fall cleaning”? Cleaning up debris around the entrance, exits, back storage yard and around the outside of your buildings before the snow falls, leaving behind invisible hazard is a proactive measure to prevent incidents.

The Motor Safety Association assists many businesses throughout the province with prevention, whether it is a visit, phone call or meeting.

We see many clean yards or “back forties” but we also see many that are not so clean – blocks of wood, old parts, attachments, etc. left behind.

Now is the time to clean them up before they cause a sprained ankle, twisted knee, slip/trip/fall or damage to equipment.

An afternoon of cleanup prior to a snowfall will prevent days lost to injury!!!
