Hello Fall

SUCCESS STORIES

The Munoz family had a goal of purchasing their own home but needed assistance with the upfront costs of homeownership. Through Columbia Cascade Housing Corporation’s Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program, the Munoz family received the support they needed to make that goal a reality.

With guidance throughout the homebuying process and assistance with their down payment and closing costs, the Munoz family was able to successfully purchase a home in Hood River County.

The Munoz family successfully closed on their new home and can now enjoy the stability and security of homeownership. Their story is a great example of how down payment assistance and housing counseling can help local families achieve their dream of owning a home.

HOMEOWNERSHIP

Home Repair Program

We are excited to share updates from our Home Repair Programs as we continue working to support low-income homeowners throughout our communities. These programs focus on helping eligible households maintain safe, stable, and healthy housing. We currently have two home repair grant programs in Sherman, Wasco, and Hood River counties, and we have a home repair grant program in Klickitat and Skamania counties. These programs provide no-cost home repairs to eligible homeowners and homes.
