Hello Ladies,

What’s Your Talent?

Customers often comment to me how they wish they had a talent! They see all the creativity from the different vendors and wish they too had the ability to produce something. I always say that I’m certain they each possess a talent. It may not be one where a physical item is produced, but it’s a gift that will be appreciated by others. Recently, Suzanne Crawford provided the centerpieces for the WINS luncheon. I sent her an email saying how pleased I was to receive one. She replied that she enjoyed making them, but that her talents are ones that are not seen, but are heard. She’s a very talented singer and musician. Have confidence in yourself! Reach out and try something new. Whether it’s singing, sewing, public speaking, playing an instrument, knitting or painting, I know that each of you have a talent to share with the world.

Amy Corneau Bio

I’ve been a “joiner” my whole life: Youth Groups, PTA, then other boards after my kids

graduated. I LOVE people! I find them fascinating, I’m a natural interviewer, and I love making

connections with people. I’m an extrovert which means I get my energy from people around

me. I worked as a Catering Manager for Hyatt for 15 years opening properties around the country before marriage and kids. My husband lives with me part time (he’s a private pilot out of Bakersfield), David is 24 and Jessica is 22. I am a PROUD charter member of Soroptimist

International of Simi Valley, past President, and have held numerous positions. I was a

substitute teacher with SVUSD before working at the Chamber. I spend lots of time in Ventura

enjoying the beach, and I enjoy spending time with friends & family. I joined the WINS board

because I love the ladies in this group!
