KRDO NewsRadio’s Renae Roberts hosted Special Kids Special Families on “The Extra” this morning. Dianna Manz, director of Zach’s Place, was joined by Megan Clegg, mother of a child who uses Zach’s. They shared how far Megan’s son has progressed in his time at Zach’s and what it has meant for the Clegg family. We also promoted the upcoming Night of Comedy. Listen here...

Mountain View Electric Association's Operation Round Up Board Member, Donna Dreyer-Ross presented  Jon Karroll SKSF  Communications & Development Manager with a check for $2,500 to help support SKSF programs. The money is from MVEA’s “Operation Round Up” fund and the grant is earmarked for a ride-along position to assist with medically fragile clients.
We'd like to thank the  Colorado Springs Country Club  for hosting their Annual Charity Golf Tournament “Golfing Fore Brighter Futures for the Kids”. More than 130 golfers came to play, with a live auction & raffle. Proceeds from this event benefits SKSF programs. We appreciate their generosity & hard work to put on such a successful event!

The event will raise funds for Zach’s Place at the Laurie Hillyard Family Center, SKSF’s founding program. Zach’s Place is one of only two licensed facilities in the state of Colorado with the focus and training to provide both respite and day care for children with intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES!
We are happy to announce that in 2019, we have been approved to offer Behavioral Health Services through the RAE (Regional Accountable Entities). We offer counseling and specialized therapy to change behaviors, thoughts, emotions and how people see and understand situations. Our behavioral health team will consider your physical, behavioral and emotional aspects of your health and help determine a course of action that is best for you. Age specific therapy and evaluation is applied to patients. We offer this service to ages 4 through adulthood.
