FAMFaire: KrisKringlMarkt

It's that time of year again! The 2nd Annual Holiday Market, FAMFaire KRISKRINGLMARKT, will be held in the historic Market Square on December 14, 2019, from 10 am to 5 pm. This event will be a spectacular outdoor shopping experience in one of the most beautiful parts of our notable town. These traditional German-style markets are based on the holiday tradition that began in Nuremberg, Germany, dating from the 16th century. Our holiday market will include vendors selling traditional crafts and foods. It is the perfect environment to invoke the holiday spirit while friends, families and neighbors stroll along tents filled with gifts and treats.

This event is FREE and open to the public with traditional German beer, mulled wine, hot chocolate and so much more!
Hen Asem Reflection Event
Join the FAM on Monday, December 16th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM for the Hen Asem Reflection Event, the final Hen Asem program of 2019. The community is invited to join us for refreshments and conversation about the topics discussed in the series, including the 1619 commemoration. This event is FREE and open to the public.

The Hen Asem series is graciously sponsored by the City of Fredericksburg. Support provided by the City enables FAM’s Hen Asem committee to present quality cultural and educational programming in an effort to unify and better understand our diverse community and history.
