General Familiarization Course Aircraft / Engine
- ATA Level I - 40 Hours
Description:
This course will train the Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the specific systems of the aircraft, their functions and the normal operation with an initial understanding of the overall aircraft and engine.
Training Objective:
This course is designed to train the student with the overall knowledge to perform MRO Base Maintenance Tasks along with line maintenance transit and overnight checks.

eneral Familiarization Course Aircraft / Engine
- ATA Level II - 80 Hours
Description:
This system course has been designed to train the Aircraft Maintenance Technician to achieve a complete understanding and in depth knowledge of the major aircraft systems.
The technician will identify the normal functions, recognize the abnormal indications and distinguish the faults and defects in the associated systems. Specific information and tools are utilized such as: Present Leg Fault, Existing Faults, Maintenance Messages, Snapshots and Synopsis Displays are used to troubleshoot and repair aircraft and engine defects and faults.
Training Objective:
This systems training course is designed to specifically provide an in-depth and total look at the aircraft systems in relation to their respective core components, computers, interface systems, system redundancy, sensors for flight deck indication and other aircrafts user systems for valid signals. The goal of this course if to thoroughly troubleshoot aircraft and engine system defects and faults.
Course Objective:
This Course satisfies ATA 104 Level II objectives. Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to be familiar and understand the following course objectives:
- Observe safety precautions when near and around the aircraft and
engine.
- Obtain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the aircraft and
engine systems and components, the functions of each and the
interface with other systems.
- Location and access of the components in the system.
- Servicing of the system core components .
- Identify normal and non-normal fault indications provided by
aircraft instruments and flight deck displays.
- Aircraft systems troubleshooting with reference to the FIM / FRM
and the application of the MEL and CDl.
