Medical Education Day | Keynote Speaker Announcement
The Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators is excited to announce Sanjay V. Desai, MD as the 15th Annual Medical Education Day Keynote speaker. He is the Chief Academic Officer and Group Vice President of Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Desai is deeply passionate about advancing medical education to better prepare physicians for the complex and evolving healthcare landscape.
His keynote address on Precision Education will begin at 12:00pm on September 24, 2025 in Hughes Auditorium. More details to come.

Proposal submissions for the 15th Annual Medical Education Day will open May 2025.
Proposals will be reviewed by the Medical Education Day Committee and decisions will be communicated in late June. Proposals must be submitted by June 2 at 11:59 pm for consideration. More details to come.

Call For Abstracts - Global Health Education Day
We invite students, faculty, and community members to present posters on global health projects at Global Health Education Day on May 14th, 2025. Groups should submit one abstract, and presenters must be available on the event day.
Abstracts (max 500 words) can be submitted via the Abstract Submission Form. More details will follow for accepted presenters.

New AMA $12M Precision Education Grant Program
The American Medical Association has introduced a new initiative to advance precision education in healthcare, with a focus on democratizing the learning ecosystem. As part of this effort, the AMA’s ChangeMedEd initiative has launched a four-year, $12 million grant program to support the development and implementation of precision education systems.
This program aims to leverage data and technology to enhance personalization, efficiency, and learner agency.
