StaffSpotlightStaff Spotlight: Jeff Murch
Credit analyst Jeff Murch has spent the last 11 years at FAME working with loan officers to find alternative loan structures to mitigate risks and help FAME customers "get to yes."  Jeff graduated from Maine Maritime Academy where he majored in Marine Management and minored in International Business and Logistics. Before joining the FAME team, Jeff performed education and training in the Credit Department at MBNA.

Equally active both inside and outside of FAME, Jeff is program manager of FAME's On Line Answer system, chairman of the Charitable Giving Committee, and a member of FAME's Safety Committee. He coaches youth sports teams and enjoys hiking, boating, fishing, and building projects at home, such as a brick barbecue grill, a treehouse, and a basement music studio. A multi-instrumentalist, Jeff plays guitar, bass, and drums, and formed a rock band with one of his high school friends and both their sons. Once a year Jeff, his wife Mirelli, and their children Thomas (9) and Sophia (6) travel to Brazil, where Mirelli's family lives. Mirelli teaches Spanish at Waterville High School, and English, Portuguese, and Spanish are all spoken in Jeff's household. His multilingual skills came in handy when he assisted a Portuguese-speaking FAME education customer who'd emigrated to Maine from Mozambique.

Jeff is proud to be a part of the FAME team and help build successful futures for Maine citizens.
