Great Things are Happening Every Day in Academic Affairs
Florida A&M University Developmental Research School (FAMU DRS) is again providing free meals to the community.

As of Monday, June 7, FAMU DRS began distributing pre-packaged meals for breakfast and lunch. The meals are available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to noon, and may be retrieved from the district's circle drive on Orange Avenue.

The school began providing meals last summer to help families during the pandemic, and FAMU DRS Superintendent Micheal Johnson said his team is fortunate to be able to provide the service again this year.

"I am pleased to announce we are continuing our free meal distribution," said Johnson. "Ms. Franklin, her cafeteria team, and our school security team have been essential in helping to provide this great service for our students and our extended community."

The meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and they will be provided to anyone in the community. FAMU DRS will distribute breakfast and lunch until Friday, July 23.
