Deb is an acclaimed artist who has been one of Moda's top fabric designers for over 15 years.  Her collections are always the most popular in our store and sell-out every season.  Deb is going to walk us through, step by step, how she designs a new fabric collection.  She is going to feature the fabric pictured above "Forest Fancy". Then she is going to show us over 40 quilts from her personal collection featuring her fabrics.  Deb also designs calendars, greeting cards,  garden flags, figurines and other decorative items for the home. She will be bringing those items for us to see too.

Update on Eleanor Burns
As many of you already know, Eleanor Burns had heart surgery on Sept. 14th.
Here she is on September 21st recovering at home basking in the love of her granddaughters.    Unfortunately, she
will not be able to be at our event, but
after she recovers she is going to come to Pittsburgh for a special bonus day  for the people who attend this Quilters Dream Retreat.   The doctors told her that her aorta replacement has over a thousand hand stitches in it.  Eleanor said, "I'm not sure if they are pulling my leg because I am a quilter or if it's really true. What I do know, is that I am home, happy and healthy!
Thank you for your support."
We're so happy she is going to be OK and
she'll be making her way back to Southwestern PA!
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Eleanor's Quilters Dream Retreat
is going on as planned
with a
Few Extra Added Special Bonus Treats!!!
You are going to be making the exact same projects
as if Eleanor were there!
We are thrilled to have Eleanor's Cousin, Carol Selepec, teaching the Marianne's Star Class.

Carol is an award winning long-arm quilter and she is going to bring samples of her work for us to view.

WOW!  Thank You Carol!!

Make sure you bring your Autumn Leaf Wallhanging with you to Deb Strain's evening lecture.  I want to film a quick "Get Well Soon" video to send to Eleanor with everyone holding up their wallhanging.  I'm hoping that a cheer-me-up like this will speed up her recovery!
To show you how much we all appreciate your loyalty and support for Eleanor Burns, you will be receiving  bonus gifts from Quilt In A Day, Baby Lock & Gloria Horn Sewing Studio.

Jeanine has been working very hard on your name tags.
