FANUC Holds Grand Opening in Auburn Hills, MI

FANUC America held a grand opening celebration at its new North Campus facility on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Over 500 customers and other guests attended the morning celebration featuring an official program, ribbon-cutting ceremony and a facility tour.  Special guests included Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Auburn Hills Mayor Kevin McDaniel, and Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett.  The tour route of the 461,000 square-foot facility featured over 20 robotic demonstrations including a work cell that used FANUC cobots to pack 1,500 bags of food for a local Michigan chapter of Blessings in a Backpack.

2019 Rockwell Automation Fair

Look for FANUC in booth #318 at the Rockwell Automation Fair, Nov. 20-21 in Chicago. At the show, an LR Mate 200 i D/7L compact robot and easy-to-use PLC Motion Interface will demonstrate an interactive load/unload operation. The new PLC Motion Interface makes it easy for operators with no robot programming experience to teach programs using a Rockwell PLC.  

In addition, we’ll feature the FANUC Power Motion i -MODEL A, a high-performance motion controller designed for a wide range of multi-axis general motion applications.  We will also highlight our award-winning Zero Down Time (ZDT) Industrial IoT solution.
